According to Jay, that's what the townies say of the beach dwellers......and so we are! We have taken full advantage of the almost daily beach walks, sand castle building, and wave jumping. Ella is still scared to tackle the water on her own, but soon enough she'll be hanging with the rest of the beach babies out there. Audrey on the other hand, just cackles and squeals each time the water comes crashing into us! We caught sand crabs the other day and I couldn't help but laugh thinking of Jayish and Pritty, the sand crabs that the Wassners and I caught at Rehobeth, named after the High's workers. What crazy kids we were!
We had a great weekend. I met Laura and 2 friends at the Ponte Vedra Spa on Saturday for an afternoon of lounging in robes, sitting by the pool, lunch, and the best pedicure I've ever had. What a treat!! Chris had the girls and then later met up with Jon to compare and contrast the flat screen TVs that he's been drooling over since the day he began residency. Soon enough he'll get his "sfecial treat", as Ella would say.
Sunday, I took Ella for a ride on the back of my bike and we fed the ducks, turtles, and fishies in the pond at a near by park!
Aside from the nasty Florida summer heat, all is well! We're missing our playdates and friends
back in Davie, but hoping to get that all started here ASAP.
Congrats to Nickelle, Carlos, and Gabriel who welcomed baby Daniel into the world on the 2nd! The pictures are beautiful! Glad to know that the family is doing well! We wish we were there to visit and give our love.
Other fab news is that we closed on our house today at 12:30 - it's official!! And, Chris began at his new office today. He's organizing, ironing out last minute details of the contract, and meeting referrers this week and will begin seeing patients on the 17th.

hope chris likes the tv...he was def talking about that way back when i came to visit last year!!
we were so facinated with the High's workers. So much so that we named our sandcrabs after them. Didn't the name Jayish resurface at recreation?
