Ella didn't have school last Friday, so Chris and I packed up the girls for a day at the Jacksonville Zoo! I was thoroughly impressed! The favorites were the elephants, monkeys, giraffes, and snakes (odd!) The highlight of the day was getting to feed a giraffe branches and leaves. She ate them right from our hands. Ella was excited and nervous all at once!
FYI: You can see that 1/2 of the giraffe's tongue is black.....to protect it from sunburn!
