If it weren't for the fact that this pic was blurry when actually printed, it might have been on the Christmas cards that you should be receiving any day now. Leave it to me, the procrastinator
extraordinaire, to be at the post office (in the ENORMOUS line with two crazy little ladies) this Monday and Tuesday. All packages and cards are out and aside from running out this eve to buy two preschool teacher gifts, I am washing my hands of buying any more presents!!!
Next year I'll be organized! hahaha We are definitley gearing up for Santa ("he knows if you've been good or bad", I repeatedly say throughout the day when the whining begins) and Ella couldn't be more excited for the big day. Mr. Elfie, a new holiday addition thanks to the
Lindbloms, sits in a new place every morning after returning from the North Pole and sharing with Santa all that he has seen/heard here on
Abaco Lane. The guest house has been turned into gift wrap mayhem, much like our guest bedroom always was while my mom created her Christmas masterpieces (presents). Chris has time off beginning Friday until the New Year, so we a trying to plan some fun family activities for those few days. Looking forward to some relaxation!
My Ladies Christmas party was so much fun last week. People stayed until 1 am, which is WAY late for mommies! I was so glad that Laura and Jackie were able to come and meet everyone "beachside". We've promised to plan one every six weeks from here on out. We even got out the calendars to book dates, so it should be official. I feel so lucky to have made such good friends here after only moving a short 6 months ago. On tap in the near future is the school Christmas party tomorrow, Gingerbread House/Men decorating playdate on Thursday, and Dad and Libby's arrival to share Christmas with us.
