Dance (or not) Recital!

Not so sure about this "on stage" stuff.

All is well once it's over!!!
2 Saturdays ago, Ella's preschool had their dance recital. The entire school, each class with their own costume from "around the world", sat on stage and sang songs as each group preformed. It was adorable!!! She belted her heart out to "It's a small world" (in Spanish!!), Day-O, Yellow Submarine, and many others. However, when it was time to dance, Ella was not interested :) Her class' theme was Hawaii (apropos for our little hula girl) and she stood still in the middle of the stage playing with her grass skirt while the production went on around her. I was just happy that there were not tears on stage. Friday's practice didn't go over so well and on the way to the recital, she cried in the back seat saying that she was scared and didn't like to dance. A bit overwhelming, but all in all she did great. We were so proud and I even shed a tear.....nothing new. Chris took pics on our video camera, which I have yet to figure out, but here are a few from my camera before it all went down.
