I remember the days of early swim team when we would put our caps on at home and wear them in the car on the way to the meet. Maybe a year later when we were "older and wiser", we laughed that those novices who would do that. Ella and Audrey have certainly topped that. Ella had her first swim lesson last week and she and Audrey (who did not have a lesson) decided that they would put their goggles on at home and they wore them in the car to the Y. They then proceeded to play on the playground for 30 minutes with the goggles on, swinging, sliding, until the red rings were embedded so deep that it took until bed time before they began to fade.
