Saturday morning marked the beginning of potty training, take 2! To our surprise, things are going great! With special treats, the potty dance (a.k.a. the chicken dance), and the "Ella's big girl potty song" we seem to have made going potty fun! There has only been one accident, so I'm extremely proud of the big girl! Saturday she went in the potty 5 times and 9 times on Sunday. She even figured out how to go just a little to get a special treat (2 mini marshmellows) and then go back and finish to get more!!! Stinker! Some of you may not know of Ella's obsession with lady bugs, which also happens to be her most widely used nickname, so it only seemed natural to celebrate the potty success with lady bug cookies! Mommy and Ella had a great time baking up a storm! They ended up not being very cute or tasty, but Ella didn't seem to mind! We're staying home all week with T-shirts and nakie bottom to reinforce the habit and I'm already a little stir crazy, but forge ahead! No poo poo in the potty yet...I hear it comes a little later! Baby steps....
