Just as everything was falling in line to create an almost cheesily perfect Christmas experience, Ella decided to keep us awake from 1am-3:30am screaming and refusing to sleep. I thought Chris was seriously going to throw all of her presents away and replace them with coal :) With groggy eyes and LARGE mugs of coffee the extravanganza began around 7:30....almost with trepidation. Both girls seemed shocked when we came down the stairs and saw all the toys. I think it was completely overwhelming. Ella kept asking "are these for me?" Soon enough we were knee deep in paper!!
Ella's new doll house (equipped with an elevator) from Santa was a huge hit for both!
