After being at rock bottom the week before last, we've re-bounded nicely, healthy and happy! Last week proved to be the break through week for Audrey. Although she's not jumping into the teachers arms, yet, I came a little early and caught a glimpse of her her signing in circle time and participating in the art project!! yeah, that makes me so happy!! And just as I noticed independence bloom with Ella after starting school, it's beginning with little one:)
Last week was beautiful! The weather has begun to change and we spent the entire day at the park last Tuesday (after ballet) and Thursday. We packed picnics and made new friends. On Friday, we drove down to Winter Haven to spend the weekend with Chris' parents and Scott, Michelle and the kids. Happy 14th Bday to Ashley - we celebrated with Mexican, Margaritas, and a tummy ache :)!!! Saturday was football watching and volleyball watching, as we were able to see a live feed of Ashley's tournament in ft. Myers. So cool to see them in action. Brett and Nick did a great job of entertaining Ella and Audrey. And while I said last week that Audrey wasn't so hot with new people (well, those other than mom, dad, and ella) she went ahead and proved me wrong, as usual, hamming it up for her cousins and Grandma and Grandpop. Her personality really came through for them this weekend. She's comedy! Thanks for the great weekend, Grandma and Grandpop!
This week is pretty routine. On Tues/Thurs this week we have new friends from school coming over to play and that's about it. Nothing wrong with simplicity.
