Last weekend was the beach breakthrough and this weekend was the pool breakthrough! Ella has always loved the pool, but with the move this summer and having 2 babes, we were unable to do lessons. When Ella started to regress a bit and not want to go under water, I was sad:( But, this weekend she would have made Hugh want to throw his clipboard in the air. She was a fish swimming under from the ladder to mommy to daddy..., jumping in and surfacing on her own, and best of all going underwater to fetch rings from the bottom! It was a light switch. She tried out her first pair of goggles for a bit, but ditched them after she told me that they were "pulling her eyes out". Bottom line, don't rush it with kids, they will do it all in their own time.

School drop off did went much better this morning. She still asks me to stay with a few tears, but the teachers say she's just fine as soon as I leave. They have a music teacher, dance teacher, and spanish teacher who comes in 2x/wk. She showed me some hot dance moves today and we waddled like ducks shakin' our tail feathers! Meanwhile, Audrey needs to join baby 4H b/c she just turned 10 months and is already making all the animal sounds when we ask what does a cow, horse, lion say....... She has grown immensely in the last 3 weeks, talking up a storm. I hate to say it, but she pronounces NO as perfectly as you and me and uses it in context when Ella tries to take something from her......can you say modeling behavior!!! I think she thinks she's 2.
